The Hyperlite Gromcast is the Broadcast squashed down to kids size with an updated snub tail so the wee lads and lasses can start surfing like mum and dad. The Gromcast provides exactly what you would expect, a simple yet effective design featuring a dual concave base for a free and smooth surf-style ride. The Gromcast now also features a snub tail shape for the kids to learn how to use their edges with ease. With Hyperlite's monocoque construction, you're provided with a quality finish and design. Whether it's just starting or you want to throw down and have some fun, the Broadcast covers all bases.
Materials & Construction
- Bio 3 Core – The core you want under your feet, from beginner to pro. Biolite 3 PU foam is wrapped in fibreglass to create a lighter, stronger wakeboard.
- Monocoque Construction – An outer glass wrap from the bottom to the top, switching the flash line from the weakest to the strongest part of the board. It is also renowned as the most durable construction in wakeboarding.
- Layered Glass – Make sure your board doesn’t soften over the years; layered fibreglass will help keep you poppin’.

- Snub Tail Design - A stable and easy to control design, with its wide flat tail, promotes easy manoeuvring with simple movements but ultimately keeps the board tracking easy.
- Minimal Rockerline - Allows the surfer to maintain and increase the speed at any point on the wave or in the curl with ease.
Base
- Dual Concave Base Contour - To disrupt the water and create an even flow to both sides of the board, creating stability and easy edge transitions.
Rail
- Rounded Surf Rail - A super smooth and floaty rail, giving that traditional surfboard feel.
